Protein Pancakes 🥞
Here’s a simple version of the always popular Protein Pancakes we’ve borrowed from our friend @tonybasra. It’s easy to follow and easier to eat.
INGREDIENTS (Pancakes)
25g Instant Scottish Oats
30g Pure Whey (Vanilla works best)
1 x Medium Banana
1 cup Almond Milk
1 x tsp Baking Soda
1 x tbsp Coconut Oil
INGREDIENTS (Topping)
25g Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 x Banana
20g Cacao Nibs
METHOD
1. Add the banana, oats, protein powder, almond milk and baking powder to a blender. Blitz for a few a minutes until you have a runny mixture.
2. Add 1 tbsp of coconut oil to a flat frying pan on a medium heat. Then pour in your pancake mixture slowly creating one pancake at a time. Cook on both sides for a few mins until golden brown. You should get roughly 5 average sized pancakes.
3. Stack them high and decorate them with whatever toppings you prefer: we love a bit of PB & Cacao Nibs, but maybe Nutella and Strawberries is more up your street.
